Penzaboy Management seems to be the home of the future leaders of Zambia’s music scene by targeting the best upcoming musicians in Zambia with an international appeal, an example of this is the music label’s new signing of the leaders of the new wave Ikko Ace & Muko, whose creativity even caught the eye of. Ikko Ace & Muko didn’t start as a famous duo, musically we first heard of Ikko Ace as a solo artist when he jumped on Jay Rox’s “kazizi” song, while Muko started his entertainment journey as a dancer entering several dance competitions and coming out top in most of them which gained him his first bit of popularity. He then commenced his musical career in 2016 with his first single “Whatchu Say” which skyrocketed him to many Zambian mouths as a talent to look out for.
They joined forces with Shinko beats to make and drop their first project Now Or Never as a duo, that changed their status from newcomers to a viable brand in the music industry giving them opportunities to perform alongside African giant acts such as Nasty C, Emtee, Shekhinah, joeboy, Sauti Sol, WSTRN and Casper Nyovest, just to name a few.
Ikko Ace has been a presenter on ZNBC “the link” even acting in various productions and adverts, to say the least, “Zamtel” “SUNDANCE ad for Trade King’s” “ULWIMBO” “wasted” “Investtrust” and currently in season 2 of “Amooye” an exciting tv drama which aired this week on Zambezi magic. While Muko has also gained the attention of the corporate world, working on ads and getting endorsed by the likes of Vodafone, Airtel, and Mosi lager.
